My favorite pho bowl comes from a local spot named Sakura Go. For about $16 you can get a hefty pho bowl with an assortment of good stuff floating in the broth.
They have shrimp, steak and brisket flavors, also a vegan variant. Brisket is my go to as pictured here from a few orders.
usually i save some broth and noodles for leftover meals and dish remixes. A little goes a long way flavor and broth wise.
They are generous on spices, lots of sriracha and jalapenos, big fresh slices. The heat can be overwhelming if you're not accustomed to it. over time you kinda crave it oddly enough.
look around your local area for pho spots, you'd be pleasantly surprised sometimes just browsing uber eats or riding around.
Spending a load on uber eats lowkey made me learn how to make my own loaded bowls. These are popular at all the local ethnic spots nowadays. One of my favorite places is Mezeh i think is the name. So many options you end up spending pacc and gas money on one bowl.
so yeah, after a while i said hmmm lemme make my own and save a little cash.
So the spot that has my favorite pho bowl also has my favorite poke bowl, imagine that.
The Sakura spot has a tuna poke bowl that is sublime. and i mean addictive. Everything just hits with this one. Soy beans, wasabi, that red spicy stuff, melon, avocado, seasweed, tuna cubes, seasame seeds and a blend of sauces.
i spend a little extra and get yum yum plus eel sauce. The eel sauce is amazing and worth the extra $1 imo.
They also have a salmon variant but i always opt for tuna so i can't speak on that bowl. One day i'll try it though and post.
Check out the colors, fresh and lively yet cold like vegan or sushi. Best part is, this meal is less than $12.
Super easy one, anon. Tuna steaks seared with rosemary and thyme then finished with feta cheese and fish sauce.

Depending on where you live, tuna steaks are plentiful nowadays. less than regular steak cost wise and similar weight. i prefer tuna over any red meat so if its steak... then its prob tuna steak.
