Hey fam, so i just finished another birb in acrylic, this time with flowers in an orchid like schene.

A few pictures from sketch to frame. Started around August or October 2025 i think, and framed last week, i tink.

The reference was a picture on pinterest of a pink and white canary in a matching floral canopy. You may have seen it if you're a pinterest enjooyer too.

Did better on the bird eye this time, less human more bird per say. Had trouble with the flowers at first, as seen in the initial sketch, totally changed their styling as i went on. As for the bird i wasn't sure to leave it white or mimic the reference, was trickier than i anticipated on canvas with acrylic blending.

Also went through two backgrounds, deciding on the gradient teal/turq/blue. Seemed to compliment the pink and white a lil better than what i originally was going for.

Was going add a lil more light detail to the leaves but nah tis gucci. All went well tho, finished this one much faster than the hummingbird piece. And we're on to the next canvas, make art ily, anon.
