separation is scary, or perhaps isolation rather. to be without a crew, fam or any agency. for some its by choice others by tragedy. regardless of the circumstance its frowned upon to be a loner, not healthy mentally or spiritually. society tells us that we need friends and social dynamics to thrive in life. but many people suffer in silence. can be from environment, pain, illness, or even stigmas. sometimes its stuff we can't just talk about to anyone; despite being friends or fam. how we may really feel or what actually happened during xyz... and i guess thats one way to become a black sheep, apart from the herd or flock, by choosing not to 'open up' often enough.
for bros we're taught early not to show any weakness, or else. more common for guys to become loners in defense, their wall is always up per say. in my experience guys like that are usually gifted wif some talent or skill. really common among artist and writer types, alone a lot or doesn't talk much but always honing their craft. i tink if it wasn't for adulthood/society, many people prob would be ok with isolating with their hobby or craft tbh tho. like the high school era when we all had time to lock away in our rooms.
i wonder what effect it would have on culture if more people were isolated from extroverted echo chambers, but were still independent enough to actually lock away. like more human-made art and literature? less taxes? less carbon emissions? [lol] idk but me wonder... the pandemic era provided a glimpse with the remote work thing and being locked inside if you were non-essential. that was isolation by tragedy sorta and affected everyone. ironically tho, after that we were graced with the ai takeover further removing many jobs from real people. kinda had the opposite effect, perhaps since the cause and effect was enforced by the feds. schizo theory could argue a hollywood movie scenario where people have to hide and isolate to survive a termination or they live situation. but thats another article lol.
random thought, but the pics i've seen of north korea's city streets/buildings had a void, cold aesthetic. like without people freely congregating or traveling about. ya know, life? but thats an outsiders perspective tbh. still, federally enforced isolation of a people/person removes the soul or spark of life. solidtary confinement issa thing too in prison [lol].
imagine the culture that we'll never see, that the feds don't even know about, in a place like that. how the music sounds, how the art and aesthetics look etc etc. if you're a gun guy or gal, you may know how rare the ak stuff is from those sino and northern regions. imagine what we have never seen, carried by the silent ones that are truly unknown loners. on bloccs like that any spotlight on culture or individualism is terminated by the feds... historically, its happened a few times in art and literature, where the church/temple/state would go after people that expressed themselves. and biblically, the state pursued the Messiah, the ultimate individual and shepard. Probably the only herd you and i should be a part of and not apart from lol. not here to sell you on faith but worth noting the parrellel of state prosecution to those whom are individuals. especially when they are unguarded or given over.
so, is it better to be apart from a herd or be a part of? boils down to your values or life mission so to speak i guess. to each is own. choosing not to form relationships to protect others or protect oneself from others is understandable. some would call that living in fear, but criticisms are irrelevant really. some people have issues, and prob should be apart from groups of normies no doubt. being realistic is important lol. i remember known twitter heads arguing that you're dumb if you don't want kids or a family. however what if someone is autistic and has suffered from xyz affliction all their life? calling someone with a disability dumb is rude and kinda mean ngl. people with large followings shouldn't be so general/vague with insults nor doctrines. like bro imagine a loner stoner like me trying to raise someone... i barely talk and prefer to be alone plus the atf thing. i may be autistic tho not sure lol. either way the kid would be at a disadvantage, their mom prob would move on and thus add another layer of damage. i rather not sac someone elses happiness for my own, personally.
idk we change as we get older, its not unheard of for introverts or autist to mask well enough to form bonds when neccessary. at 33 me just still happier away from fake stuff. its prob wrong to assume everyone's full of it, but you know how it is.
hoes just want a crypto bros doe... ya feel me anon...
Breaking automation, but why? Wut you mean bruh? Well, idk just sounds like a good title... That quirk is part of what makes hand written articles and content fun again, imo.
Not sure if im becoming a boomer but the ai and automation takeover of everything is starting to be annoying. Take for instance customer service at any online shop or company, its virtually non-existent. Fill out a form and wait, well, hope and pray for a response thats not a cookie cutter bot reply. Definitely sounding like a boomer... lol. But idk, something about a service or vendor taking your money and having lax at best urgency when you have a inquiry or dispute.
It's like... why am i giving these people money, no one seems to work there... Social media ironically is horrible with support as well. Which is funny, like the whole point of the site is communication... amongst people. Yet if you are suspended, over charged or just need something fixed on your account its like pulling teeth to get some where.
Personally im starting to revert from the creeping hostile takeover of automation. Instead of using a template, framework or cms like wordpress; i coded this site with just the old Lamp stack, minus the m. No need for a database to post text and maybe some images here and there. I saw it a lot during web dev days, some clients would need to automate everything little thing you can think of. And for what? Sites that are all now defunct... Automation straight to zero.
Shamefully search results have also fallen victim to ai and automation. Literally every top post is the same copy pasta ai generated blob to push ads. In my era, we could not get approved for any advertising if the content was not original and handwritten. Back then google actually cared, well kinda. In those days we lost out a lot to our bros in the east, ironically google favored non-Us based devs and marketing campaigns which is a whole' nother can of worms. Anyways, to see so much lack of effort and originality on the web nowadays is saddening to anyone over 27 years old.
Art is probably suffering the most, artist are being replaced by ai each day. One of my favorite vtubers, who is an artist by trade, shared her dismay over the situation. Bots replicating her art but adding weird artifacts, almost like an overlay to the work. People that stare at art a lot can usually tell the ai vs human difference but for marketing and consumer related stuff those people rarely care about source or integrity. Which puts the human out of commission work or market share prospects.
Between you and me anon, im guilty of using the bing ai image generator a lot during meme production for twitter. You can tell though what is a layered work versus the ai posts easily though. My stuff is kinda schizo with layers and noise while the ai memes were simple for speed. Some nft artist do not care to add any filters or layers however, numerous collections on Solana recently for example are just ai generated and shipped for mint. And man... if anyone in a gc mentions its an ai grift they get trolled, kicked even fudded later on...
Again, i know i sound like a boomer... lol. i remember back when we thought the idea of a bot listening to you in the house was cringe asf. Yet here we are, 'hey siri'... 'alexa'... do stuff for me that i can easily do meow...
My approach, just start doing things the slow, by-hand way again. From coding, mixing a playlist, writing an article and wutevs you do. When everyone is a bot or ai wizard you get weird situations like the casino on Solana. Everyone using bots... that trigger bots to sell... when other bots sell...at 20k market cap.... all day... everyday... Why not pick a good plays and hold a bag instead, like uwu or gcr. Solana's volume would suggest we can all eat... yet... Look wut muh bot do.
You may be old enough to remember when etsy actually had a marketplace for people that crafted handmade stuff. Management gave into greed a few years back and started allowing automated drop shipping api's, on top of ai marketing and the like. Completely rekt'd smaller vendors that actually ran their campaigns by hand from home.
And who cares, right?
Gotta make that money, right?
But what if, hear me out, people start rejecting this current meta. Pulling back from social media wastelands. Creating by hand, expressing passion for what they like and do. Not using grok or the like... What if more devs wake up to the current network state, and start just writing in their favorite programming languages again without github repo dis or what framework you use bro?!?!
What if writers put down the ai and push away the keyboard, and pick up a pen or pencil. Imagine if people starting reading and writing in cursive again? As you may know, in the west feds phased out cursive script in schools as it makes you an individual. Plus its kinda hard for ai and bots to accurately read each unique person's cursive handwriting. So many examples of how bad our degradation is becoming. Automated consumerism. Perhaps im just getting old and bitter, clinging to what was.
But, im not anti-futurist or progress. Just a millennial dev that has seen enough movies, articles and stuff about the Terminator or irobot situation... Or Space Odyssey if you like the older stuff. Or Walle for younger gens.
I can appreciate the code behind ai/automation though, as a dev i know how much work goes into things working as intended. Guys that write code seem to always to be forgotten, similar to many artists on canvas. The work lives on even though many people that love/use it never knew you existed.
Thinking we need more touch grass balance moving forward, like real communities knowing whats actually going on and not leaving everything to an automated/ai script and federal clipboard. idk though, autistic ramblings about technology while using a compuwuter lol... One thing about practicing change is not being a hypocrite or pushing an agenda on others that you really don't care enough to exercise etc etc...
Sometimes i guess just getting the ideas out there to those that care or will spread it, is enough. Less of the 'bot maximize profit' mindset, and more human passion for life.
Tribes transcend bubbles. This idea can be hard to grasp for traditionally minded people. Online or irl. People like to associate themselves with a group, the bubble, if you will. Guess what happens to a bubble when too much pressure forms, lol. Ideas that do not align with the group, or bubble, cause fatal disruption. Doesn't matter how strong walled the group is.
Freethinkers tend to fear tribalism for this reason. And no, im not referring to the anti-religion 'freethinker' philosphy. i mean more of a genereal sense like the phrase, think outside of the box, well replace box with bubble, lol. That old phrase applies to gaining knowledge, finding clarity and even in some cases separating oneself from a tribalist mindset. Can be hard, physically and mentally.
Personally, it was always easy to detach or shed groups and relationships. Could just be the autism, lol. But for many people it's not easy to reimagine their perspective on tribalism. People make excuses as to why they choose to become bubble heads; race, gender, location, sexual orientation and etc etc. Irrespective to what someone may believe religiously, we have free will and the ambition to act upon it. Feels paradoxical when we are challenged in life, like... what was i supposed to do... I've heard that a lot and im sure you have too.
As a freethinker you realize in time that people do what they want, regardless of thier excuses or outward logic to do so. Rarely do we meet people that are frank enough to just admit it, that they do what they want etc etc... In this realization, you may find that all you can do is be loyal, sincere or genuine in how you go about relationships with people or groups. Nothing you can do if someone else is the polar opposite of you or your values. So what am i getting at? idk lol... But in a schizo kinda way freethinkers are able to find agency with like minded people, yet are able to remain individuals. Like in the macro but apart from the micro, type shid...
Think of a Republican dude residing in an Democrat neighbor block. Or, imagine loving someone from a group that you are told to hate all your life, ironically by other people you love. Thinking outside the/your box can be dangerous for some of us, no doubt. This is bibilical, or depending on your faith/idealism, it goes way back. Even for cult members, independent thought is usually met with grave consequences. The burden of free thought is to be the black sheep, the outcast, or even the martry. This divide is why many people will just go with the flow in life, which varies vastly among different groups of people.
The older i become i find that it can be an honor to have the courage to be different. And the unexpected agency i've found with other freethinkers is a blessing. Connecting, even if at a vast distance, with people that move to their own rythm, or flow. Traditionalists would probably just assume the worst of anything not deemed normal. Forexample, no full-time job, no spouse, no kids... not even a relationship, but this dude or that chick really loves art and finance. Yet thats partially the beauty of it, or perhaps just the autism typing. Not being normal by societal tribal standards however still accepted by people that hold similar values globally. Definitely autism typing meow...
Imagine if we all listened to the boomers that said don't associate with [insert group here]... think of all the music, beauty, knowledge, literature and art that would have never existed or been shared. Think of all the love, lost... Music is big on this as you may know, an art form that has the ability to make people move. The right vibes and frequency will make people of all creeds and cultures dance or move something in harmony. Think of all the artists that were/are freethinkers and were not afraid to mix subgenres or play where they were not invited [or welcomed].
im not here to rewire your way of thinking, more so a nod to those that can see through the veil of control that is traditional tribalism. And if you're ready for change, look to what is fun, like genuinely. If you find something fun or funny and the vibes are to your liking, then roll with it. Who cares if the people are cringe, act weird, or whatever the outwardly affliction, lol. i've learned that you don't have to be with someone to be with someone [or something], if that makes sense. Loyal from a far but not bound by a set group hierarchy or rule set, type shidd. <33
